Gunnar played Buddy to much acclaim in Spokane Valley Summer Theatre's 2024 production of the show, and looks forward to donning the frames and picking up the Stratocaster again in the near future!  

MIRANDA SIMONNE

Chicago, IL

Miranda is a travelling actor, singer, and musician, proficient in trumpet and keyboard/piano, and teachable on guitar. Castable as Vi, ensemble, and/or concert musician, she's always looking to rock 'n' roll it with future productions of Buddy!

ANDREW HARVEY

New York, NY


Originally from Buffalo, NY, Andrew is an NYC-Based Actor, Musician and Singer/Songwriter. He plays guitar, drums, mandolin and banjo, and is always looking for the next jam session. Andrew has played Buddy to much acclaim on the 2022 non-union tour of the show and at various regional houses including Maine State Music Theatre and Tuacahn Center for the Performing Arts.

GIORGIO VOLPE

South Florida


Giorgio is a South Florida-based actor, singer, and musician who portrayed Ritchie Valens for the first time at The Wick Theatre (Boca Raton, FL) in 2024. He is proficient in guitar - both electric and acoustic - and also enjoyed playing “Rose of Texas” as one of the Hayriders.

KYLE WELLS

Denver, CO

Kyle Wells is an actor/musician who has performed as Joe B. Mauldin in productions of Buddy, including The Wick Theatre (Boca Raton, FL) in 2024, and the Palace Theater (Wisonsin Dells, WI) in 2017. This role has a special place in his heart, having been the catalyst for his love of rockabilly bass.

MARRIOTT THEATRE, Lincolnshire, Illinois

Summer 2023 brought with it a tremendous production of Buddy in one act in the round at Chicagoland's Marriott Theatre (Lincolnshire, IL), delighting audiences with its boundless energy and rocking performances, while also earning the show and production a Jeff Award nomination!

ROBERT BRANDON

California (Central Coast)

Brandon is an actor-musician, drummer, and percussionist trained in drumset and orchestral percussion. He has played the role of Jerry Allison in the Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre (Hudson, Florida) production of Buddy in 2023 and at the Wick Theatre (Boca Raton, Florida) production of the show in 2024.

BENJAMIN BROWN

Dallas–Fort Worth, TX

Benjamin played Joe B. Mauldin in the Casa Mañana production of Buddy in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2019, and also at Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre in Hudson, Florida, in 2023. In 2024 at the Wick Theatre in Boca Raton, Florida, he played the 4th Cricket, trombone in Clear Lake, as well as member of the Hayriders. He would love to be considered for further productions of the show, including in the area of musical direction. Based in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Benjamin is suitable for Joe B. Mauldin and the 4th Cricket track. He is proficient on upright and electric bass, guitar, piano, trombone and mandolin.

JACOB SEAY

Spartanburg, SC

Jacob is a 24-year-old non-Equity actor/singer who recently played the role of Buddy Holly at Centre Stage in Greenville, South Carolina (Buddy, summer 2023). He currently resides in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and performs in plays, musicals, and concerts year-round in several theaters in the upstate area. He is, however, interested in pursuing opportunities to perform in other areas as well.

2023 U.K. TOUR: WHAT A RIDE IT'S BEEN!

We’ve almost reached the end of the road for the 2023 UK tour! These past 33 weeks have been nothing short of spectacular, as we've witnessed audiences in every part of the country up and dancing, clapping and singing along, raising many a theatre roof along the way!

STEPHANIE GARCIA

Colorado

Stephanie made her Buddy debut as Maria Elena and Clear Lake Back-Up Vocals/Dancer at Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre (Florida) in 2023. Originally from Miami, FL, she is a Cuban actress fluent in Spanish and now based out of Colorado. She'd love to be considered for future productions of the show!

KIERAN McCABE

Philadelphia, PA


Kieran is a Philadelphia-based actor and multi-instrumentalist. He has performed in two Jeff Award nominated productions of Buddy. In 2018, he played Jerry Allison at the American Blues Theater, Chicago (which won 5 Jeff awards) and he received a Jeff nomination for principal performer in a musical as Buddy in Buddy at the Marriott Theatre in summer 2023.

BUDDY DEMENTIA-FRIENDLY PERFORMANCES

This week is Dementia Action Week, the Alzheimer’s Society’s biggest and longest running awareness campaign.

Following on from this campaign week we are hosting three dementia-friendly performances during the Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story UK tour, so that people living with dementia, their families, and carers can experience the show in a more relaxed environment.

It's been incredible performing in front of our audiences again on the 2023 UK tour!
