Paul McCartney has often talked about the importance of Buddy Holly and the Crickets on the fledgling career of The Beatles, and Buddy’s huge influence on numerous other artists and musicians is well documented.

Here, Sir Paul (pictured above with one of our former West End ‘Buddys’, Chip Esten, now starring in the TV drama Nashville), chats with The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood about how The Beatles would try new song arrangements, sounds and ‘little tricks’ to make their songs sound different.
