SARAH GODWIN

Sarah Godwin is a Southern-born singer, songwriter, and actress living in New York City. She has performed in numerous productions of Buddy, playing Vi Petty/Hayrider/Snowbird and keys, including in the 2020-21 U.S. tour, the Wick Theatre in Boca Raton, FL (2024) and at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre in Indianapolis (2019).

A native of McMinnville, Tennessee, she graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN with a B.A. in Music, has a certificate in Opera Performance from Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy, and a Professional Certificate from AMDA NYC’s intensive Integrated Musical Theater Conservatory program.

On stage, Sarah featured in the 2020-21 U.S. National Tour of Buddy, with further productions of the show at the Wick Theatre, Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre (Lancaster, PA), Palace Theatre in the Dells (WI), and Endstation Theatre Company (Lynchburg, VA). She has also performed at Recent Cutbacks, Amore Opera, Bound for Broadway, Opera Memphis, and the International Festival of the Arts in Arezzo, Italy. She performs live music of all genres on her piano and ukulele in various venues around lower Manhattan. Sarah is currently living in Brooklyn where she moonlights as a bartender and amateur wine sommelier, while she continues to pursue both stage and film acting and promotes her original music.

She loves pizza, dirty martinis, and spontaneous dance parties.
