Miranda Simonne is a travelling actor, singer, and musician. She is proficient in trumpet and keyboard/piano, and also capable of guitar or other instruments as needed. She was recently seen in the role of Vi Petty (and Clear Lake trumpet) at The Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre (Fort Myers, FL) and Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre (Lancaster, PA), both in 2025.
Miranda made her debut as Vi Petty in 2017 at Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre where she was also featured as Shirley, a Snowbird, and a Clear Lake Backup Singer. In 2024, she understudied Vi Petty at The Wick Theatre in Florida, performing as Lead Hayrider and Clear Lake Concert Musician (trumpet) under the direction of Matt McClure (who also directed Buddy at both the Broadway Palm and Dutch Apple). Miranda is always looking to challenge herself musically, whether it’s on trumpet, keys, or other instruments… she’s ready “rock and roll it!” any way she can, and looks forward to participating in future productions of Buddy!
