Buddy is embarking on an 11-week U.S. tour this February! Produced by New Jersey-based Boebe Productions and directed by Steve Steiner (a member of the original Broadway company of Buddy), the cast are revved-up and ready to go, so be sure to catch them at a theatre near you!

Sixty years since Buddy Holly first entered the UK album charts with The Chirping Crickets in 1958, the Rock & Roll pioneer is back in the Top 10, with an album that picks up where he left off at his very last recording session...
The 50th annual Joseph Jefferson Awards, recognizing the work of Equity productions in the Chicago area (held October 22, at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook, Illinois) saw American Blues Theater take home five Jeff Awards for their 2018 production of Buddy—The Buddy Holly Story, including the prizes for: Best Production, Musical (Midsize); Best Director, Midsize Theater (Lili-Anne Brown); Best Ensemble, Musical; Best Performer in a Principal Role, Musical (Zachary Stevenson); and Best Music Direction (Michael Mahler).
2019 will see Buddy, 'The World's Most Successful Rock & Roll Musical', celebrate its 30th year, while making a triumphant homecoming to its birthplace - Theatre Royal, Plymouth - where it was first developed in 1989!

It's always a bit special going back to Plymouth, as we did last week. It was at the Theatre Royal in August 1989, that the Buddy adventure began. Little did anyone involved back then know we'd still be rockin' all over the world 28 years later!
