JOHN SEABERRY

A seasoned upright bass player, John played Joe B. Mauldin in the smash hit production of Buddy at Carousel Dinner Theater (Colorado) in 2009.

John has 15 years experience as a professional musician and is professionally proficient at reading music, charts and improvising on electric and upright bass, classical string bass, acoustic and electric guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica and vocals.

He played bass and banjo as Joe B. Mauldin of the Crickets for 10 weeks in 2009, at the Carousel Dinner Theater (Fort Collins, Colorado) production of Buddy.

His musical theater performances also include (bass, unless otherwise indicated): Bubs (also banjo) (Dixon Place, FringeNYC, 2009), High School Musical, All Shook Up!, White Christmas, The Producers (all Carousel Dinner Theater), She Loves Me, Fiddler On The Roof, and Pippen (Aspen Community Theater), and Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Ridglea Theater).

John has also played bass on national tours with Eddie Kirkland (2003 – blues), Four-Twenty Blues Band (1997-2000 – blues/rock), and Ed Shaughnessy (1995 – jazz).
