by Noel Gallagher (The London Free Press, July 28, 2006)
Huron Country Playhouse may have perfected the formula for creating can't-miss, summer stage hits... boasts Zachary Stevenson's formidable portrayal of the play's title figure. The talented actor-singer captures the gawky boyish charm, feisty self-confidence and musical genius of the rock 'n' roll pioneer... In addition to Stevenson's performance, the production banks on the versatility of its 12 other cast members who handle more than 30 roles required by Alan Janes' and Rob Bettinson's finely crafted script... Rock 'n' roll music, the hard-pumping heart of the show, takes centre stage... Musical director Robert Foster and company do loving justice to memorable Holly tunes.
